Tickets (tickets.bot, often called TicketsBot) and Better Tickets are both dashboard-driven Discord ticket bots with free claiming, forms and transcripts. Tickets goes deeper on support desk features: a knowledge base, satisfaction ratings, a transcript browser and thread-based tickets. Better Tickets is broader: the same bot also runs staff applications, jail with auto-jail, leveling and a message builder. This comparison sets out what each does so you can pick the one that fits.

- Support-desk depth. Knowledge base articles, feedback ratings, exit surveys and tags for canned replies.

/verifyto prove it wasn't edited. - More panels and schedules out of the box. Up to 4 categories, each with its own support hours.
- Fine-grained buttons and voice. Per-button allowed and blocked roles, plus temporary voice channels for a ticket.
Who each one is best for

Frequently asked questions
Which bot is this comparing against?
Tickets, the ticket bot at tickets.bot (previously ticketsbot.net), often called TicketsBot. It isn't the same as TicketBot at ticketsbot.org, which is a separate project.
Is claiming free in Tickets?
Yes. Tickets lists ticket claiming as a free feature, in channel mode. Its thread mode doesn't support claiming. Better Tickets also includes claiming for every server.
Which bot has better transcripts?
They're built differently. Tickets stores transcripts for browsing, filtering and labeling in its web dashboard. Better Tickets posts a private link to a signed HTML transcript in your transcript channel (and optionally the member's DMs); anyone can download it and check it with /verify.
Does Better Tickets have a knowledge base or ticket ratings like Tickets?
No. Tickets has knowledge base articles, user feedback ratings and exit surveys; Better Tickets doesn't. Better Tickets covers other jobs instead, such as staff applications, jail and leveling.
Can I switch without losing old tickets?
Old transcripts stay in Tickets' dashboard. Set up Better Tickets alongside it, move your panels one at a time, and remove the old panels once nobody has tickets open in them.
