/emoji steal copies a custom emoji or sticker from somewhere else into your server, as either an emoji or a sticker, your choice either way. It’s entirely free and requires no setup, just the right Discord permission to run it.
In this example, we will use ! as the prefix.
Finding what to steal
An item can come from two places, and both can be combined in the same command:- The
emojioption: paste a custom emoji directly, e.g./emoji steal emoji:😎or!steal 😎. You can paste more than one, space-separated. - Replying to a message: run the command as a reply to a message containing custom emojis and/or stickers, and every one of them is picked up automatically, no option needed.
<:name:id> or <a:name:id> behind the scenes) count, standard Unicode emojis like 😀 have no image or ID behind them and can’t be stolen. Up to 10 items are used per run; anything past that is dropped with a note in the reply.
Browsing and stealing
By default, running/emoji steal | !steal opens a one-item-at-a-time browser: a preview of the current item plus Prev/Next buttons, a ✕ button to close it and two action buttons:
- Steal as Emoji: uploads it to this server’s emoji list.
- Steal as Sticker: uploads it to this server’s sticker list.
Stealing everything at once
Add--all to skip the browser and steal every found item immediately, each as its native kind, an emoji stays an emoji, a sticker stays a sticker:
Permissions
Running/emoji steal (and the rest of the /emoji command) requires Administrator, Create Server Expressions or Manage Server. The bot itself also needs Manage Server Expressions to create emojis or stickers, if it’s missing that, you’ll get a clear message telling you so instead of the steal silently failing.
