Better Tickets Premium

Better Tickets is free to use. Premium raises limits and unlocks a few extra customizations. There are two tiers, Plus and Max, and premium belongs to your Discord account: you buy it once and choose which server it powers.

What premium unlocks

Every server gets the Free column. Premium raises a server's limits to the Plus or Max column. The dashboard's Premium page shows the same table with your server's current tier highlighted.

  • Custom command cooldowns
  • Faster application DM delivery

Max only: a custom bot nickname, avatar, bio and banner for your server, with /bot or on the dashboard.

1

Open the Premium page

Log in to the dashboard, pick your server, and open Premium.

2

Pick a tier

Click Subscribe to Plus or Subscribe to Max. Checkout opens on top of the page. Payments are handled by Polar; Better Tickets never sees your card details.

3

Activate it

After paying, the Your premium card shows your tier within a few seconds. Click Activate in this server to apply it to the server you're viewing.

Checkouts started from the dashboard are linked to your Discord account automatically.

Bought premium somewhere else?

If you paid through a shared checkout link instead of the dashboard, link the purchase by email. Your Discord account's email must be verified on Discord and must be the same one you used at checkout. Log out of the dashboard and back in once, then open Premium. If a matching purchase is found, click Link to my account.

Activate or move premium

Premium powers one server at a time. You need the Manage Server permission in a server to activate premium there.

  • On the dashboard: open that server's Premium page and click Activate in this server.
  • In Discord: run /premium activate with the server's ID.

Activating on a different server moves your premium there, and the previous server goes back to the free plan. If a server already has premium from someone else, it can't be activated there again.

Manage or cancel

On the Premium page, click Manage subscription to change your plan, update your payment method, or cancel.

  • Cancelling keeps premium until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can undo a cancellation before then.
  • Upgrading or downgrading applies the new tier's limits straight away.
  • If a payment fails, premium stays on while the payment is retried, for up to 3 days after the paid period ends.

When premium ends

Nothing you've set up is deleted. When a server goes back to the free plan, or from Max to Plus:

  • Anything over the free limits stays saved but stops working. For example, with 6 ticket categories on the free plan, the oldest 4 keep working and the rest show an Inactive badge. Existing tickets and applications in an inactive category can still be finished, but nothing new can be opened there. The same applies to role lists, rewards, questions and prefixes.
  • Restrictions are never loosened. Denied roles, blacklists and ignored channels keep working in full.
  • Premium-only customizations fall back to the defaults, such as channel name templates, custom messages and cooldowns.
  • Max's custom bot nickname, avatar, bio and banner are reset.

Subscribe again and everything comes back automatically, with no reconfiguration.

Support server roles

Subscribers also get a Plus or Max role in our support server. The role follows your subscription and is removed when it ends. Leaving the support server doesn't affect premium you pay for.
